GUELPH, ON -- Festive Nites with Guelphites

Wednesday, December 20, 2023Wed, Dec 20, 2023

artBar, 37 Quebec St., Guelph

A group of Guelph folkies are coming together for the 3rd iteration of Festive Nites with Guelphites: a cozy evening of wintery stories, songs, and poetry. We'll be playing two sets, in-the-round style (where all of the performers are on stage at once, taking turns playing songs while the others may accompany them).

Performers include Rachel Barreca, James Gordon, Preetam Sengupta (me), Tragedy Ann (Liv Cazzola & Braden Phelan) and some special secret guests!

Tickets are being offered on a sliding scale, with a portion of sales going towards two incredible community arts projects: Otherwise Studios, and Yukon Gold Folk Club (launching in 2024). Whether or not you can afford to contribute financially, we welcome you to come.

Doors open at 7pm, Music starts at 7:30pm

Location: artBar (the new venue in the old eBar space) The venue & their washrooms are accessible via elevator and built-in ramps.

Sliding scale ticket prices - $0/Pay What You Can, $10, $20, $30, or $40

I live, work, and create on the ancestral lands of the Attawandaron and the treaty territory of the Mississaugas of the Credit. I am honoured, humbled, and grateful to have continued opportunities to learn the true history of where I call home, and from those whose ancestors were the First Peoples of these lands. In return, it is my responsibility to advocate for and take personal steps towards reconciliation so that our collective present and future can be brighter than our past.
